xdocs/architecture.xml v 1.1.2.1 Rearranged the documentation for the maven generated site. Patched the maven.xml so the documentation ends in the right place for full site deployment (subproject site deployment is still to be checked). WIP for the automatic discovery of nodes. It will NOT be backwards compatible wrt the protocol, though it should be wrt the usage as seen from the client point of view. Fixed the announcement protocol of nodes. Nodes in the same LAN should be able to discover each other and connect. The announcement is done every 5 seconds, maybe this should be made configurable. The connection is always done, maybe a blacklist should be added. Creation of a fada node has been simplified. Main class is Launcher, not Fada, runFada.sh has been updated accordingly. Changed from String to URL where URLs are used. This may break backwards compatibility with older clients. This has to be checked and fixed if that's the case. Eliminated redundant FadaHtmlView class, FadaHtmlViewTemplates class is used instead. Added several tests, though the tests are not yet exhaustive. This will be fixed in the forecoming days. Remote class is not Fada anymore, but FadaRemoteObject (recreated, was deleted in the past) |

Changed the RemoteObject exportation mechanism so it makes use of HttpProcessor. In this way the node can potentially be embedded on an http server that runs Java classes (for instance, Jetty), though this hasn't been tested yet. The main thing is that RemoteObject no longer controls the socket, it is given by some other component. Changed the FadaProcessor to reflect that change. Added a FadagenProcessor that takes care of deserialization of requests and serialization of responses. Eliminated the branch of the source that is related with UDDI (and the dependency with Juddi) |

Added new methods to allow "offline" search, in which a lookup goes on while the client is disconnected. The client can poll the status of the search and get partial results. This is also a work in progress. |
